The Beej Swaraj has the unique variety of multi colored maize, geo tagged variety of Minor millets, variety of paddy which are grown in different types of soil condition.
The Beej Swaraj provides a platform to tribal farmers residing at the tri junction of Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh and Gujarat in western India where they can display, cultivate and promote their traditional agricultural techniques, knowledge, culturally rich and diversified seed varieties.
At the same time, it ensures the availability of necessary information and seeds to other farmers in relation to different types of seeds from the diverse seed stock, where the seed buyer can buy seeds directly with the seed producer farmer.

WHO WE ARE
Under the "True Farming" theme, we have been promoting the Sustainable Integrated Farming System - SIFS approach among the tribal farming communities of Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh, Gujarat for the last decade. The organization has helped to facilitate "Saksham Samuh" which is a group of progressive women farmers at village level in all 1168 villages. More than 23,360 women farmers are promoting sustainable integrated farming by preserving traditional seeds.
